Dear teachers, colleagues, and students,

The theme of this event is the SDGs 12 Green Consumption Education Seminar, as green consumption is increasingly becoming a prominent lifestyle philosophy in society. In this era of pursuing sustainable development, it is crucial for us to care about the manufacturing process of products, resource utilization, and their environmental impact. Green consumption is not just a choice; it is a responsibility.

In the first phase of the event, we have invited the New Taipei City Environmental Protection Bureau to focus on the theme of environmental point collection. They will introduce the "Environmental Point Collection System" implemented by the Environmental Protection Department and provide insights into green consumption. We will emphasize the selection of products made from environmentally friendly recycled materials and advocate for reducing the use of excessive packaging and disposable items. Such choices not only reduce resource wastage but also contribute to mitigating the adverse effects of waste on the environment.

For the second phase, we have arranged an eco-friendly floral art workshop. Eco-friendly floral art involves choosing locally produced floral materials to reduce the carbon emissions associated with long-distance transportation. Additionally, we will use renewable and recyclable floral containers, avoiding the use of disposable plastic flower pots, with a commitment to minimizing our impact on the planet.

Please join us enthusiastically in both phases to learn how simple choices can make a significant difference for our planet.

1.Battery recycling is available on-site. Please feel free to bring used batteries from your respective units to the venue for recycling.
